Refunds & EU consumer rights

1. Aclamos plans

  • 14-day money-back: cancel within 14 days of your first paid invoice and email billing@aclamos.app; we'll refund the most recent payment if you have not actively run a show or election.
  • Monthly plans: cancel any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; partial-period refunds are not provided.
  • Annual plans: pro-rata refund of the unused months when you cancel for a documented Aclamos service breach. Otherwise the annual term completes.
  • Trials are free. We never auto-charge after a trial without an explicit payment method on file plus a clear notice 7 days before the first charge.

2. Per-entry / nomination fees

Nomination fees are paid by the nominator directly to the show producer(via Stripe Connect). Aclamos takes 0% per entry. Refund decisions for nomination fees are therefore the show producer's. Each show publishes its own refund policy on the submission page; Aclamos enforces that policy at the technical layer.

3. EU / EEA / UK consumer right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer (an individual acting outside trade, business, craft or profession) and resident in the EU, EEA, or UK, you have the right to withdraw from a contract for digital services within 14 days without giving any reason (Directive 2011/83/EU Art 9). To exercise this right, email billing@aclamos.app with a clear statement, including your name, the date you signed up, and the order reference. You may use the model withdrawal form below.

Important: if you ask us to begin providing the Service before the 14-day period has elapsed, you will lose the right of withdrawal once we have fully performed (Art 16(m) of the Directive). When you check the box at signup confirming you want immediate access, we treat that as your express request.

4. Australia consumer law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

5. Disputes & chargebacks

Please contact billing@aclamos.app before initiating a chargeback — most issues are resolved in under 24 hours. Repeated unjustified chargebacks may result in account suspension under our AUP.

6. SaaS Service-Level Agreement

Service credits for downtime are governed by the SLA published at /legal/sla.
