Copyright & content takedown

Last updated: May 2026.

Aclamos respects intellectual-property rights and complies with the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA, 17 U.S.C. § 512), the EU Digital Services Act (DSA, Reg. (EU) 2022/2065), and equivalent laws elsewhere. This page explains how to send a notice, what we do with it, and how to file a counter-notice.

How to send a notice

Use the form at /legal/takedown or email dmca@aclamos.app. To be effective under § 512(c)(3), your notice must include:

  1. An electronic or physical signature of a person authorized to act for the rights-holder.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  3. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail (URL) for us to find it.
  4. Your contact information (address, phone, email).
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the rights-holder.

Designated agent (DMCA § 512(c)(2))

Designated Copyright Agent
Aclamos, Inc.
Attn: DMCA Agent
[Florida principal office address — TBD]
Tampa, FL [ZIP], USA
dmca@aclamos.app

A current registration on file with the U.S. Copyright Office is required for safe-harbor protection — Aclamos maintains one. The registration must be renewed every three years (37 CFR § 201.38).

Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe the takedown was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice. We will forward it to the original claimant and, if they do not file suit within 10–14 business days, restore the content.

Repeat-infringer policy

It is our policy to terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.

Trademarks, privacy, and other content concerns

For trademark, privacy (including doxxing or non-consensual intimate imagery), and other illegal content concerns, use the same form at /legal/takedown or email abuse@aclamos.app. Under EU DSA Art 16, our acknowledgement and decision-with-reasons will be sent within the timelines required by law.

CSAM

Suspected child sexual abuse material is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and equivalent international hotlines. Do not include CSAM in your notice; provide URLs only.

Transparency

We publish a transparency report annually with anonymized counts of takedown notices, actions, and counter-notices.
